Weeds have no intention of losing. They will be back no matter human intervention and attack. Every farmer who farms for a living accepts weeds for their role in agriculture and nature. They are a nuisance and often a plague.
In the same fashion, every sociologist accepts the reality and presence of prejudice, hatred, greed, and deceit. They too have a role in how we exist as a people. They offer us certainty. We can be certain that as soon as we feel we have gotten one under control, another variety of human weed is growing in an adjacent field. Seeds from that field will be blown over or deposited by nature in some form.
What we are doing is essentially bowing to a reality while we simultaneously do battle against it. If the weed gets bad enough or that type of weed is deemed a threat to our having a garden at all, we must search for more powerful agents. Be careful that we ourselves do not become the weeds we hope to remove–that we are not injured by our own weapons while attempting to eliminate them for good.
OUR EVOLUTION OF CONTROL MEASURES.
PROGRESSIVE ESCALATION OF ENFORCEMENT.
“This ought to fix it. If one doesn’t work, try the next.”
1-LAW. If we make a law, this makes us feel better, but time has proven that laws give people something to work around and to break at will. If we put up a sign in the garden NO WEEDS–ordinance #15, what might the weeds do?
9 year old Wallace is a boy intent on bullying others. The school made a law that bullying was not allowed and would be punished. So what? His fist is pumped and ready.
16 year old Katrina was told that online bullying was against the law. So what? Her bent to crush other girls was strong.
21 year old Matt knew that it was against the law to carry weapons onto a school campus. So what? His anger at being bullied was never resolved.
The law has no power to change people, only to threaten or punish.
2-SHAME. If a majority puts enough shame on the law breaker, perhaps this will send a powerful enough message that he/she will now behave themselves by giving up using prejudice greed, hatred, and the like to make them feel better about themselves. This is like putting a sign up in the garden as a solution: “SHAME ON YOU WEEDS for ruining things for all of us“.
Shame has no power to change people, only to embarrass and distance.
3-PROTEST. Start a # movement. This really does move into the “How Dare You” sort of message. It is a notch above shame and has that flare of desperation. People are now more embolden and they feel the power of the masses “on their side”. March in the streets. Shout to the hills. The message from the Gardner: “OK weeds—we’ve had enough of your intrusion and destruction. You are gonna get some of our verbal smashing as we walk the streets and pummel your unacceptable behavior”.
Protest has no power to change people, only to inform.
4-RIOT, LOOT AND BURN. Because 1-3 have not worked, then our # movement must escalate the priority to RED. It is time for the harsh chemicals. We would much rather go green and have an organic food supply, but some of these weeds prevent this ideal. Time for Molotov and rocks.
Who are the Big weeds needing elimination?
–White Supremacy
–White Anything
–Systemic Racism
–Bad Cops
–Corporate Greed
–Evil Statues
–History I would rather forget than face
–America! We hate this country.
Rioting has no power to change people, only to make them more guilty.
Off we go then. Take the U-Haul Truck because all that we loot tonight is justified as if it were reparations for past injustices we have endured. Burn the rest. They all have insurance. Maybe now they will learn not to mess with us.
The Year: 2021 THIS TIME NEXT YEAR–
When the Farmer Gets Rid of Weeds, Society Will be Rid of Prejudice and Greed.
In other words, this time next year we will still be doing battle with greed, hatred, prejudice, bullying, and deceit. They are not one-time weeds. They are pervasive and perennial. They grow back from the seeds in the human heart and they care not about words and directives from # movements, governments and enforcement officers. Such weed-infested groups like BLM and Antifa act from their own greed and prejudice spouting anger and evil deeds of destruction in the name of being anti-racist.
There is only one solution for the lot of us:
“We love because he first loved us. Whoever claims to love God yet hates (prejudices) a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen.” I John 4:19-20
THE YEAR 2030 HEADLINES -Portland, OR. or Chicago, Illinois, or… where leaders lost their battle with the weeds
Faithful Protesters burned down their last building in the early morning hours. The Matriarchal Society and Fine Culture building succumbed to the peaceful clan just as all other establishments. The remaining 350 citizens, Mayor and entire City Council of Portland are moving out of what is left of the city with only their animals, leadership awards and a few Gucci garment bags. With nothing left to burn or loot, the 450 remaining righteous protestors plan to simply retreat back to their parents basements and enjoy a peaceful existence minus all the hatred, bigotry, prejudice, and male patriarchy while enjoying their own curious version of white privilege. Said Greg “Sparks” Hooligan, “Man I’m gonna miss the smell of Molotov fuel and burning tire rubber. And I wonder if I could be the next Mayor?”
AFTER WE REALIZE THE WEEDS WILL NEVER FULLY GO AWAY
THERE REALLY IS A CURE FOR ALL THIS WEED-OF-HEART
START WITH WHERE THEY COME FROM, THEIR SOURCE.
Then Jesus said:
“What comes from your heart is what makes you unclean. Out of your heart come evil thoughts, vulgar deeds, stealing, murder, unfaithfulness in marriage, greed, meanness, deceit, indecency, envy, insults, pride, and foolishness. All of these come from your heart, and they are what make you unfit to worship God.” Mark 7:20-23
START REMOVING WEEDS BY:
1–Acknowledge the true origins for sin, call them what they are—SIN—rebellion against God.
2–Own your own personal sins and confess them as such.
3–Repent—Turn from them and ask God to make you His own child by accepting the Gift of His Son for the forgiveness of sin. This is called being “BORN AGAIN” read John chapter 3
4–Continue to read His Word
5–When you become His child you are now a member of THE CHURCH–His universal body called the Bride of Christ. God places His Spirit within you to empower you and to sustain you— to lead you—to make you useable in His Kingdom on earth —to comfort and to convict you.
6–Now, seek to be in fellowship with His church, the local assembly—a group near you that respects God’s word, the bible, as His unchanging guide and will for all His children.
7–As a new believer, follow the Lord in Believers Baptism. This is where you identify with Christ publicly. Baptism is a picture of the salvation you received. It is not the salvation. Buried and raised to life. You are baptized because you became a Christian, not to become one.
“We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.” Romans 6:4
You can become a Christian ONLY ONCE in this life. After that it is WHAT KIND of child (Christian) you are. Obedient and growing or rebellious and carnal.
Christians are no longer obligated to sin, (read Romans 6) but they sin nonetheless. Now our sin is a matter of broken fellowship, not relationship with God. READ HEBREWS chapter 12
Remember that you did not become a Christian by any effort or good work of your own. Therefore, you cannot lose your salvation by doing (sinning) something bad.
“Money paid to workers isn’t a gift. It is something they earn by working. But you cannot make God accept you because of something you do. God accepts sinners only because they have faith in him.” –Romans 4:4-5

MORE PROLIFIC WEEDS
SAD NOTE: There are fewer and fewer bible believing—bible preaching churches in America as time goes on. You must ask God for wisdom and discernment. Read Ephesians chapter 4 in your bible. Then read the Book of James. Do not stop reading.
Visit local churches that believe and preach the entire bible until you find the place God has for you. Expect to meet more imperfect people as yourself. Do not allow your eyes\to stay on them. Look to Christ. Keep your eyes on Him as your Savior and friend. Keep His commandments.
Not all professing Christians around you will be growing but the ones who are–who are daily in the word–who are being conformed to the image of Christ— these people will become your truest friends and Christian soldiers who will support you and assist you.
DISCIPLESHIP is absolute in God’s plan for you and me. He intends to grow us up into the likeness of His Son Jesus Christ. The bible says that we are to “Bear Fruit” and do good works that demonstrate we have been saved. (not good works to become or remain saved–impossible to do)
Note: If the church you visit supports Same Sex Marriage and affirms the LGBTQ agenda, keep walking. God’s word cannot be more clear about three things:
LGBTQ are destructive lifestyles of dysfunction and sin. Gay is a verb, not a noun–not some new species of human being.
MARRIAGE was and is a God creation. Man hijacked it recently and decided men could marry men and women could marry women. While this may be an unfortunate and damaging legal union in this country now, it is not a marriage as God ordains.
LOVE is also a God-invention. Welcome and love any and all (within and without the church) who have chosen to live a lifestyle that is defiance of God and His love. We are never allowed or asked to judge them (unless they are professing believers). But neither are we asked or allowed to affirm them in sin by throwing parties and flying flags.
If you or I commit adultery, gossip, lie or cheat others, (or any sin) God calls this sin, for which we must confess and repent. If we insist that it is not sin and we make such sin to become a justified lifestyle, we will receive God’s love in the form of discipline and chastisement.
A non-Christian practicing any lifestyle that God pronounces sinful, thus harmful, will meet God on the terms He decides. He is their judge. The Christian’s only task then is to love all people without condoning or supporting the sin they commit or practice.
HOWEVER: A professing Christian intent on sinning as an unrepentant lifestyle will meet the judgment of God AND His church. Christians are to judge one another and hold one another accountable for lives that are pleasing to God and healthy within His church.

“In my other letter I told you not to have anything to do with immoral people. But I wasn’t talking about the people of this world. You would have to leave this world to get away from everyone who is immoral or greedy or who cheats or worships idols. I was talking about your own people who are immoral or greedy or worship idols or curse others or get drunk or cheat. Don’t even eat with them! Why should I judge outsiders? Aren’t we supposed to judge only church members? God judges everyone else. The Scriptures say, “Chase away any of your own people who are evil.” –I Corinthians 5:9-13

God let them follow their own evil desires. Women no longer wanted to have sex in a natural way, and they did things with each other that were not natural. Men behaved in the same way. They stopped wanting to have sex with women and had strong desires for sex with other men. They did shameful things with each other, and what has happened to them is punishment for their foolish deeds.
Since these people refused even to think about God, he let their useless minds rule over them. That’s why they do all sorts of indecent things. They are evil, wicked, and greedy, as well as mean in every possible way. They want what others have, and they murder, argue, cheat, and are hard to get along with. They gossip, say cruel things about others, and hate God. They are proud, conceited, and boastful, always thinking up new ways to do evil.” Romans 1:24-30

Jesus said:
“Watch out for false prophets! They dress up like sheep, but inside they are wolves who have come to attack you. you can tell what they are by what they do. No one picks grapes or figs from thorn bushes. A good tree produces good fruit, and a bad tree produces bad fruit. A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot produce good fruit. Every tree that produces bad fruit will be chopped down and burned. You can tell who the false prophets are by their deeds.” –Matthew 7:15-20

The best way to keep the weeds out is
to have lots of good fruit crowding them out.
“My dear friends, you always obeyed when I was with you. Now that I am away, you should obey even more. So work with fear and trembling to discover what it really means to be saved. God is working in you to make you willing and able to obey him.” —Philippians 2:12-13
