St. Paul the Apostle is sighted – reappears in the small town of Blackpool, UK.

—BLACKPOOL, ENGLAND    09-2018

In a rare sighting (much as Elvis), the historical Saint Paul, the Apostle was discovered preaching once again, causing untold disruption and chaos. The small town of Blackpool has come together to refute, boycott and insist that Paul leave their town. They want him to “spew his hatred somewhere else”.

Here are their complaints concerning the bigoted, homophobic, misogynistic evangelist/missionary.

1-He claims the act and behavior of homosexuality to be sin and shameful. In fairness, he claims to love all people—that he is merely telling what God has made known. But still, he has no right preaching a message that hurts people. Here is what he told the Roman culture in his day and he is still preaching the same words. Romans Chapter 1

26 God let them follow their own evil desires.

Women no longer wanted to have sex in a natural way, and they did things with each other that were not natural.

27 Men behaved in the same way. They stopped wanting to have sex with women and had strong desires for sex with other men.

They did shameful things with each other, and what has happened to them is punishment for their foolish deeds.

28 Since these people refused even to think about God, he let their useless minds rule over them.

That’s why they do all sorts of indecent things. 29 They are evil, wicked, and greedy, as well as mean in every possible way.”

2- He Called us “Evil” people and said we would never enter heaven. If that isn’t hate speech, I don’t know what is.

We have documentation of what he said to the people in the ancient city of Corinth, and here he is doing it again to us.

“Don’t you know that evil people won’t have a share in the blessings of God’s kingdom? Don’t fool yourselves! No one who is immoral or worships idols or is unfaithful in marriage or is a pervert or behaves like a homosexual will share in God’s kingdom. Neither will any thief or greedy person or drunkard or anyone who curses and cheats others.”  I Corinthians 6:9-11

–He went on to claim that homosexuality is a verb—behavior, (activity) not a noun or an identity.

–Here is where the fallacious idea – “CONVERSION THERAPY”- derived!

Read this and be astonished at his arrogance and hatred for people who do not believe as he does.

11 “Some of you used to be like that. But now the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and the power of God’s Spirit have washed you and made you holy and acceptable to God.”

3-Thus he denies our rulings and new laws (based upon sound psychology and sociology) that it is wrong to claim therapy for those who are “born that way.” He should be jailed just for making these hateful claims.

4-You just thought this couldn’t get worse. Paul is calling out the POPE, Hybles, Catholic and Protestant Disciples of Jesus — all people who name Christ as their Savior and Lord. Catch this! He is judging immorality in the church! Concerning judgement:

GOD, not Christians or the church, JUDGES THOSE WHO DO NOT CLAIM TO BE CHRISTIAN–“Outsiders”. But,

the Christian church (members of Christ body) MUST JUDGE ITSELF AND EXERCISE STRICT ACCOUNTABILITY.

This is what he said:

“In my other letter I told you not to have anything to do with immoral people. But I wasn’t talking about the people of this world. You would have to leave this world to get away from everyone who is immoral or greedy or who cheats or worships idols. I was talking about your own people who are immoral or greedy or worship idols or curse others or get drunk or cheat. Don’t even eat with them! Why should I judge outsiders? Aren’t we supposed to judge only church members? God judges everyone else. The Scriptures say, “Chase away any of your own people who are evil.” I Corinthians 5:9-13

5- Finally, Paul is asking that all of Christ’s followers believe and live like him.

“Finally, my friends, keep your minds on whatever is true, pure, right, holy, friendly, and proper. Don’t ever stop thinking about what is truly worthwhile and worthy of praise. You know the teachings I gave you, and you know what you heard me say and saw me do. So, follow my example. And God, who gives peace, will be with you.” Philippians 4:8-9

This is where we can report some encouraging news.

It seems that the modern church might not much intend to live by the scriptures and Paul’s life-example. They prefer feelings, platitudes and “spirituality”.

Professing Christians today are afraid of unpopularity, derision, suffering and persecution—so much so that a clear majority of them choose to be friends with the worldly, non-Christian, way of believing and living, not the Bible or the “mad-man” Paul.

It seems that not even Jesus can persuade the apostate church to live by the words of scripture and risk being called hypocritical, homophobic, misogynistic, Islamophobic, hateful and mean. –great news for those of us who want to see Judeo-Christian anything to go away and leave us alone.

At the time of this writing, it was discovered that this sighting was actually that of Franklin Graham, not the historical Apostle Paul.

“Don’t love the world or anything that belongs to the world. If you love the world, you cannot love the Father. Our foolish pride comes from this world, and so do our selfish desires and our desire to have everything we see. None of this comes from the Father. The world and the desires it causes are disappearing. But if we obey God, we will live forever. -–I John 2:15-17
