IMPOSSIBLE

IMPOSSIBLE

1-For Trump not to Tweet

2-To “BE” Gay (homosexual)

Gay is not a noun–it is a verb  (just like adultery or archery)
Gay is not a new human species that commands a new identity. It is what one does, not who one is.

Gay IS a way of life for many people, most of which (but certainly not all) have known childhood sexual and or emotional abuse.

Gay is a word that has come to represent something joyous, when it rarely is, even though it is paraded as such.

Gay is not to be hated or feared, but to be met with compassionate love and care.

Gay and “Christian” are not words that may be used together any more than Adulterous and Christian. Christians may ACT OUT on their desires but these desires-become-actions do not create a new type of Christian. Their sex–sexual activities-actions do not define them.

Our compassionate, redemptive message of freedom to those caught in the webs of LGBTQ is, “You are not sex or your sex or how you choose to practice sex. Your identity is not what you do. It is who you are and who you are is simply HUMAN.”

There is only CHRISTIAN. There is only HUMAN and humans justify many harmful things, even if only for the temporary enjoyment and escape from pain and painful memories.

CONVERSION THERAPY

The Jesus of Christianity is the King of “Conversion Therapy”. For one to become  “Follower” or a “Christian”, (they are one and the same) one must become obedient to His way and His teachings. The idea of Christians doing this is called “Conversion”. Another word is “Born Again”. The therapy part is in how He promises a “Comforter” and a “Teacher” in the Holy Spirit. He will “guide us into all truth”.

Jesus never redeems a person to leave them in their sin and slavery. He begins a therapy campaign of alterations and changes from within. All that causes us to do things that harm us and others come under the scrutiny of a loving Savior who does this:

“God is working in you to make you willing and able to obey him.”

                                                                                            Philippians 2:13

Quoting the Old Testament, here is what Jesus says about men, women, sex, children, cis-gender, homosexuality, nature, natural, His will and purpose for each of us:

And Jesus said, Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.”  Matthew 19:5

THAT AND THIS IS WHY CHRISTIANS BELIEVE IN CONVERSION THERAPY

We were all “Born That Way.” We all have an inner call to sin and sinfulness. We have a Savior who was tempted in all was as we are and he offers forgiveness to all who will turn away from sin and turn to Him. (this is called repentance) When this happens, the new Christian (unlike the non-Christian) now has an inner compass that points to Christ-likeness. Don’t try to change your wrongs to rights. Just come to Him as you are–let Him do the changing.

God loves us just as we are but He has no intention of leaving us that way.

The following verses express God’s will for all His children. Though all people are created and loved by God, not all people are Gods children. (read John 3)  https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=john+3&version=CEV

Honor God with Your Body

Don’t you know that evil people won’t have a share in the blessings of God’s kingdom? Don’t fool yourselves! No one who is immoral or worships idols or is unfaithful in marriage or is a pervert or behaves like a homosexual 10 will share in God’s kingdom. Neither will any thief or greedy person or drunkard or anyone who curses and cheats others. 11 Some of you used to be like that. But now the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and the power of God’s Spirit have washed you and made you holy and acceptable to God.

12 Some of you say, “We can do anything we want to.” But I tell you that not everything is good for us. So I refuse to let anything have power over me. 13 You also say, “Food is meant for our bodies, and our bodies are meant for food.” But I tell you that God will destroy them both. We are not supposed to do indecent things with our bodies. We are to use them for the Lord who is in charge of our bodies. 14 God will raise us from death by the same power that he used when he raised our Lord to life.

15 Don’t you know that your bodies are part of the body of Christ? Is it right for me to join part of the body of Christ to a prostitute? No, it isn’t! 16 Don’t you know that a man who does that becomes part of her body? The Scriptures say, “The two of them will be like one person.” 17 But anyone who is joined to the Lord is one in spirit with him.

18 Don’t be immoral in matters of sex. That is a sin against your own body in a way that no other sin is. 19 You surely know that your body is a temple where the Holy Spirit lives. The Spirit is in you and is a gift from God. You are no longer your own. 20 God paid a great price for you. So use your body to honor God.  —I Corinthians 6:9-20 CEV
