The United States of America is a people not always so very meticulously united.
In fact, our fabric is tearing in places we haven’t predicted or prepared for. While this is nothing new, it is occurring at a quickening new rate and pace.
Our youth are the byproducts of this bold leadership committed to a new kind of “Let Freedom Ring”. This supposed freedom is at the root of depression, anxiety, hopelessness and poverty of the spirit. Our immature society bent on playground antics equates the ripping up of moorings and stable moral anchors with a “live as you please life — no resulting consequence”. When consequences do come (and they always will) they are written off killjoys — bigoted and hateful people determined to legislate and restrict fun.
FIRST CLUE: ANGER AND DEPRESSION
This one uses tantrum and anger to achieve its purpose and goal of remaining irresponsible as a lifestyle.
Signs of our Immaturity:
1-Desire and activities to redefine, if not, remove authority
Look no further than the LGBTQ agenda and their childish campaign of deception. They are like the kid coming home crying because the teacher insisted that they behave and do their homework, only to find a too-distracted, single parent who was in their own throws of anger because of the way their life was not-going. Together, instead of owning their behavior and responsibility, they chose to blame and stigmatize as a victim. Enter the victim state and the blame culture as a new “Identity” and further family destruction.
Look no further than the movement towards Socialism as a solution to corporate greed –as if assigning a new government figurehead or committee member means that these people are immune to such human flaws and will provide a more “equal” and “fair” way of life for all citizens.
Watch for legalization of drugs like marijuana to happen as if it is somehow a beneficial idea by those who stand to profit financially–not those who must clean up the mess and destruction.
Observe Hollywood as it preaches against the objectification of our young girls by –YEP–Sexualizing and objectifying women and girls. (see Superbowl half times and any rising female pop star)
Find “professionals” who will produce false statements on our behalf. There are no shortages of these people who will compromise their soul and profession for compensation and or fear of social (economic) reprisals: (see LGBTQ)
–Lawyer
–Minister
–Cop
–Judge
–Psychologist or Therapist
–Teacher
2-Desire and activity to escape consequences
This one is a direct result of being successful at accomplishing number one—Removal or disruption of authority. Children are amazingly deceptive when they need to be. They cover their tracks with the best of adults. They play one against the other for their advantage. But what we all know to be true is that “what goes up must come down”, and “you get yourself out on a limb and someone will pull the rug out from under you every time”. Then hard lesson stubbornly arrives again to stare us down—Consequences are a matter of physics, not cultural or social preference.
“And to every action there is always an equal and opposite or contrary, reaction.” –Isaac Newton
3-Desire and activity to survive the fall-out
When One and Two have accomplished their intended purposes, then number Three is the painful reminder that few things really change in life. Most of the hoopla is smoke and mirrors, cheap entertainment and a magician’s paradise of gullible audience members not wise or studied enough to resist their ruse. CHILDREN ARE locked in on FUN AND PLAY. Young boys are delaying adulthood by engrossment in games and fantasy-pornography, destroying their lives before they begin. Young girls, lost in copycat races to “become someone” like their heroes and idols on TV and Social media remain depressed and even angry at their failures and hopeless campaign of being popular, desirable and wanted by the wrong people. This desire often leads to their vulnerability to boys and men who commonly use “love” to obtain sexual favors. Add No Loving Father Present and you see this hopelessness turned into abuse and addictions. Parents become too busy to notice and care because they too are still children in search of the American dream of materialism and greed offer no leadership or example to their hurting children.
What follows is:
-Divorce and destruction of relationships prevail.
-Cohabitation and Immediate Gratification display the child’s bent.
-Social Tax-Support Organizations to “lift up the fallen” and “fix” their problems by coddling, co-dependencies, enabling and condoning. Never enough money to pay the opportunists who scavenge on the carcass of the fallen.
-New Identities used as a means of legitimizing, authoring and sustaining bad behaviors as “normal”. “I’m ADDHD and proud”. “I’m Gay and Proud”. Pride is a sick symptom, not a legitimizer. This lesson learned later than sooner means much therapy ahead.
-Promotional ads and Big Star endorsements used to glamorize and even raise the value of dysfunction.
-Disconnect from organizations that promote hard work, morality, personal responsibility, community giving and accountability. Have we noticed that 18-40 year olds have all but abandoned clubs like Pilot, Exchange, Lions Rotary, etc.
And churches are closing their doors weekly as the new morality called “SPIRITUAL BUT NOT RELIGIOUS” takes over like kudzu. By the way, “Spiritual but not Religious” is most often code talk for, “Keep your archaic bible and its homophobic, misogynistic, hateful, murdering god away from me while I use this as an unfounded excuse to rebel and whine like the child I intend on remaining.”
-Drugs, premarital sex, pregnancies, abortions, poverty and debt…
The new sign at every town square reads, “Caution–Moody Children at Play”.

In the end, none of these hurting and lonely people are helped because they have been enabled by virtue signaling “Do- Gooders”.
In the end, none are helped because they never face this unrelenting requirement to survive in life: PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY
CHRISTIANS HAVE A HIGHER CALLING
WRITTEN TO CHILDREN NEEDING TO BECOME ADULT:
“We are ruined by our own stupidity; thought we blame the Lord.” –Proverbs 19:3
“Before you knew God, you were slaves of gods that are not real. But now you know God, or better still, God knows you. How can you turn back and become the slaves of those weak and pitiful powers? –Galatians 4:8-9
“My friends, you are acting like the people of this world. That’s why I could not speak to you as spiritual people. You are like babies as far as your faith in Christ is concerned. So I had to treat you like babies and feed you milk. You could not take solid food, and you still cannot, because you are not yet spiritual. You are jealous and argue with each other. This proves that you are not spiritual and that you are acting like the people of this world.” –I Corinthians 3:1-3
HOW CHRISTIANS DO IT:
“So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
–Ephesians 4:11-16
“You have accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord. Now keep on following him. Plant your roots in Christ and let him be the foundation for your life. Be strong in your faith, just as you were taught. And be grateful.”
–Colossians 2:6-7
“My friends, the blood of Jesus gives us courage to enter the most holy place by a new way that leads to life! And this way takes us through the curtain that is Christ himself.
We have a great high priest who is in charge of God’s house. So let’s come near God with pure hearts and a confidence that comes from having faith. Let’s keep our hearts pure, our consciences free from evil, and our bodies washed with clean water. We must hold tightly to the hope that we say is ours. After all, we can trust the one who made the agreement with us. We should keep on encouraging each other to be thoughtful and to do helpful things. Some people have gotten out of the habit of meeting for worship, but we must not do that. We should keep on encouraging each other, especially since you know that the day of the Lord’s coming is getting closer.” Hebrews 10:19-25
