THE BEST GIFT OF EASTER–Honor Others More Than Yourselves

In the truest sense, every Sunday is Easter for the Christian. Having an annual celebration is wonderful, to be sure, but not meeting together in person this Covid 19 year is the best Easter gift Christians can give to each other and to the world.
Consider the resolute healthcare worker NOT going into their own house to be with family and friends. This is unselfish love personified in the true character of the Christ of Easter.
“Love each other as brothers and sisters and honor others more than you do yourself.” –-Romans 12:10
“Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.” –Philippians 2:4
WHAT THE COVID ISOLATION LAW DOES NOT SAY
–It does not say that when people, in defiance of the law, “have church” in person anyhow that the only guilty party is the “Pastor” or leader of that church. EVERY PERSON attending willfully without coercion should be arrested and processed if Law Enforcement is to be consistent with the said law. If the law were singling out the church and it’s leaders, there would be cause for rebellion, but the people who attend church are merely being asked to join a world-wide effort in eradicating a mutual, mortal enemy who is no respecter of persons. The UNCHRISTIAN thing to do is to break the law (Romans 13:1-7) following some cocky, self-promoting leader into hurting others.
